Med-IQ: Creating a Partnership for Adherence in Cystic Fibrosis treatment

We were recently contacted by Med-IQ, a company that educates CF medical professionals and patients and caregivers. We looked at their resources and felt the community here at cysticfibrosis.com might be interested in learning more from them.

Med-IQ’s mission is “To deliver education that brings measurable change in healthcare professional competency with the goal of improving performance and patient outcomes.”

This is their free Continuing Medical Education (CME) course on the topic of adherence to treatment plans. Assessing and Improving Treatment Adherence in Patients with CF

Med-IQ also offers a text-message support tool for people with CF. At www.careforcf.com you can sign up for help with various aspects of CF: communicating with your team, anxiety and depression, following your treatment plan, and more. You’ll also be able to be part of aggregate and anonymous research about CF patients.
